Hello, Goodbye Thanksgiving 2016

Well, hello there!

Each time I post, I feel like I need to say “long time no chat!”.  I would apologize for that, but I’m strangely not sorry.  We’ve been busy.

I feel so guilty letting so much time go between posts, but I guess that is just how it is nowadays.  I have so much to say, so much I want to post about, but I have no desire to get out my laptop.  During nap time, I just want a breather, and in the evenings I just want to go to bed.  HA!

My kiddos have been keeping me busy, in such a good way.  I have been craving real in-person connection.  In this stage of life I’m in right now, I just don’t have the energy or the want-to to blog consistently.

Sometimes I think about shutting this chapter in my life.  However, I’m not ready for that yet.  I feel like I may want to come back one day consistently.

Here’s a little catch up for you all… or photo dump anyway, of Thanksgiving 2016.

Family

family.

Unclem

getting loved on by Uncle Michael. (gingers unite)

Reading

reading with Daddy.

Tractorride

tractor ride with Pawpaw.

(yes, it is THAT dry in East TN)

Siblings

baby brother.

Unclec

snuggles with “Uncle” Chris.

Papa

lawn mower ride with Papa.  (the boy loves his machinery)

Trampoline

jump.

Story

story time.

We made it out of Tennessee just before the fires hit my husband’s hometown.  It is heartbreaking and so surreal to see this devastation, especially for him.  We have been watching the local East Tennessee news and it breaks our hearts.

The baby is awake and yelling for my attention…. my big 11 month old!  Her 11 month update is coming at you this week!

I hope you Thanksgiving was full of pumpkin pie and lots of other yummy food!
